Car Thief Mistakes Elephant Poop For Marijuana
A car thief who broke into the automobile while it was parked on the victim’s drive mistook a bag of elephant poop for marijuana.
The idiotic robber decided to bypass a check-book, various coins, and a delightfully woven pillow that is incredibly expensive, which were all in the car, in favour of the elephant waste instead.
Police officers revealed that the Chevrolet Surburban had these items strewn across its seats and were easily accessible. They also described the car as having a cow-patterned paint job, and they also noted that it had horns on its hood.
Officers also went on to the confirm that the only thing to be stolen from the car was the elephant poop.
Police are unsure when the crime took place, but they believed it occurred on either Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.
The ransacked car was outside a house on 3rd Street in the Niles region of Fremont, California, but police officers are still unsure how the thief broke into the SUV.
Krysten Laine, who owned both the vehicle and the home it was parked outside of, told Mercury News about the elephant poop that was in their automobile.
She remarked, “We got it as a gag gift in the mail at our business from an anonymous person.”
When she was asked why someone might decide to steal the bag that was filled with the elephant’s poo, she thinks that the thief probably mistook it for drugs.
Laine noted, “My guess, they thought it was a bag of pot. Maybe it’s the new fad drug.” However, she insists that she wants it back at some point, stating, “That would be awesome. It’s a great gag gift. We were going to give it to someone else.” But she did add that “the joke’s on them.”
