Jake Gyllenhaal Is Impressed With Himself

Jake Gyllenhaal is making one awesome comeback. Last year Gyllenhaal had the fortune of starring in End of Watch, which became one of the best made cop dramas we’ve seen in the last decade. Now Gyllenhaal is receiving rave reviews for his mature turn inPrisoners.

From the trailers we see an unhinged Jake Gyllenhaal, and it’s unlike anything we have seen before from him. That said, it’s no surprise that Gyllenhaal would be pleased with himself.

Aside from his incredibly good looks and fantastic body, after bombing with Prince of Persia, we’re seeing a whole new side of Gyllenhaal. It’s such a different side, that critics and fans alike have made note of it. All of the fuss about Gyllenhaal has made the actor take stock in himself.

In an interview on The Queen Latifah Show, Gyllenhaal jokes that he’s even impressed with himself on a daily basis. The appearance was made to promote Prisoners, but instead, it became something that resembled a comedy routine.

In his signature sarcastic humor, Gyllenhaal said about himself, “Yes, everybody really enjoys me all the time. There is not one aspect of my personality that is abhorrent, everything I do is shiny, clean. it’s amazing. I impress myself.”

When it comes to Gyllenhaal’s popularity, no one can contest it. It turns out when it came to popularity in high school, it was the same scenario. Gyllenhaal joked:

“Yes, I was incredibly popular in school. All the time.”

Although Jake is being pretty modest when it comes to his popularity, we bet his girlfriend Alyssa Miller will disagree with Jake’s sarcastic comments about himself. The Sports Illustrated model was seen loving up her man during the Toronto International Film Festival.

According to a source, Jake and his gal pal attended a party thrown for Prisoners at the festival. The two were seen “holding hands, nuzzling, and basically attached at the hip at the soiree.”

Looks like someone else is also impressed with Jake Gyllenhaal!
