Big Brother Finale Live Blog: Which ‘Exterminator’ Will Come Out On Top?

The Big Brother finale is upon us, and after a season filled with drama the show has come to a somewhat amicable conclusion.

This season of the long-running CBS reality competition has seen plenty of drama, from racist contestants to fights to schoolyard bullying. But he final three have been somewhat amicable with one another, all members of a makeshift alliance that formed about two-thirds of the way through the game and summarily knocked out the remaining contestants.

The three that remain are GinaMarie, Spencer, and Andy, all members of the group termed “The Exterminators.”

The finale starts after two of the three final Head of Household competitions have been completed. Viewers will see the three face off for the final Head of Household and the power to decided which houseguest goes to the final two and which goes to the Big Brother jury.

Check back throughout the evening or live updates of the Big Brother finale.

10:58 — So that’s it. Andy Herren is the winner of Big Brother 15 by a vote of 7-2.

10:57 — Elissa wins the $25,000 America’s Choice vote. Judd and Howard were the other two finalists.

10:53 — Spencer, McCrae, Elissa, Amanda, and Helen vote for Andy, the winner of Big Brother 15. Judd and Aaryn voted for GinaMarie.

10:48 — Julie reveals that she’ll announce the top three houseguests for America’s Choice after the commercial. Throughout the past few weeks the group of Elissa haters — Andy, Spencer, and Amanda — have been saying they’ll be mad if America picks Elissa, who they assume everyone else hates as well.

I have a feeling they’re going to be angry with the outcome.

10:45 — Howard addresses the racism in the house, saying he couldn’t watch the live feeds of the show at home because he was so angry about it.

Julie tells the houseguests that the racism made national headlines, and asked Spencer what he thought. He seemed clueless that he’s one of the offenders.

10:45 — Amanda said she now realizes America doesn’t like her.

10:34 — GinaMarie makes her case to the jury. She says she’s been herself all summer, that she kept all her deals throughout the summer.

“I’m only me, I’m GinaMarie, and that’s how I played.”

She admits she has a bit of “Italian” in her and apologizes for offending anyone.

Andy says he played with his heart and mind, that he was constantly strategizing to keep himself off the block. He takes credit for creating “The Exterminators.” He made a much better case for winning that GinaMarie, but that doesn’t always mean much with the Big Brother jury.

10:26 — GinaMarie tries to defend her behavior in the house. She deflects the question, saying the prize money would change her life.

Andy defends his lying by saying he’s a “coward” and would have been afraid to upset people by telling them he was voting them out.

10:25 — GinaMarie said the biggest obstacle she overcame was having Nick leave. Wasn’t he only there about a week? She still seems pretty broken up about it.

McCrae asks Andy how he feels about stabbing anyone in the back. Andy said he played the game that deserved to win it, that he was instrumental in getting everyone out.

10:23 — Off to the final juror questions. GinaMarie said her biggest game move was getting out Amanda and McCrae.

Andy said his biggest move was aligning with Amanda and McCrae, ratting out other houseguests and getting Amanda and McCrae to get them out.

10:14 — Spencer is off to talk to Julie Chen, saying he has no hard feelings against Andy. Meanwhile, CBS forgot to turn off GinaMarie’s mic so we’re hearing her talk too. Anything goes on the live Big Brother finale, apparently.

10:13 — Time for Andy to pick who he’ll take to the final two. He evicts Spencer, saying he made a promise to GinaMarie on night one.

10:08 — Andy wins the final Head of Household.

10:02 — The final competition begins. It’s the first part of the live finale that’s actually live.

9:58 — Dr. Will serves as moderator for the jury as they discuss the final three. He gives them a pep talk going into their final juror questions with the final two and advises them to vote on gameplay. Given the history of Big Brother, that doesn’t seem likely.

9:53 — McCrae joins the jury. Elissa’s happy to see him.

9:51 — GinaMarie is crying thinking about the decision she would have to make if she wins. She doesn’t want to hurt Andy because she said “everybody loves him.” She might find out differently when she leaves the house.

9:49 — Andy wins part two with a time of 21:54. Spencer finished in 36:11.

It really looked like Spencer might die as he tried to climb the wall. I’m honestly just glad he’s OK.

9:44 — In the second competition, Andy and Spencer try to find crabs that represent the houseguests are evicted.

Andy said he’s an educator and doesn’t make a lot of money, so he could really use the $500,000 prize money. He’s not going to be happy to find out that he’s actually not an educator anymore.

9:41 — Off to a commercial break, but not before we get a look at Dr. Will, who apparently will give some kind of insight later on. With two more competitions to go, jury questions, and the final interview, it may not leave a lot of time to see what’s going on in the jury house.

9:39 — Andy is down too, and a squealing GinaMarie gets an automatic bid to the final part of the competition. The confetti that falls when she wins gives her a bit of trouble, as she chokes on a bit of it.

9:37 — We’re recapping the first part of the final Big Brother Head of Household competition, and the houseguests are being dragged around in circles on roller skates in some kind of strange disco. Spencer is the first to fall.
