‘Star Wars’ Origins: What Characters’ Origins Do We Want?

Star Wars origin movies are apparently on their way, so what characters do we want to see the origins for?

The new Star Wars films will be origin stories, but as of yet it is unknown which characters’ origins will be made for the big screen, as previously reported by The Inquisitr. Here are some choices of who we would like to see covered in this way:

Han Solo

Everybody knows that one of the most interesting main characters in the Star Wars saga was the scoundrel who ended up marrying the Princess of Alderaan, but the prequels never showed us how he got where we caught up with him. If they want a dark and gritty storyline, this is the ticket, and we might even get Lando’s origin at the same time.

Yoda

Another central character in the saga, we barely saw him in any of the films. We know he has been around for almost a millennium, so it might be interesting to see how he learned the ways of the Force himself, and did he ever tinker with the dark side?

Jango Fett

The father of Boba Fett might be an interesting character to get to the root of in a Star Wars origin movie. Unfortunately we saw his son’s origin, ever so briefly, in Episode Two. However, we might want to see how the infamous bounty hunter’s dad got where he was.

Jacen Solo

There have been books dedicated to his life as a Jedi turned Sith, but that doesn’t make him any less interesting. Perhaps Disney will take the same route as they did with Marvel and change his origin story enough so that it won’t be based on the books. After all, he is the son of Han and Leia and no doubt many of us want to see him in action.

Darth Maul

Probably the best character in Episode One, this Sith assassin had to have had a story behind him. What made him so angry that he would willingly throw himself at any Jedi Palpatine pointed out to him? Or had he once struggled with good intentions like Anakin did?

Palpatine

The most infamous Sith Lord in the universe throughout the Star Wars saga as we know it had to have an interesting background story. What turned him to the dark side of the Force?

The Sith Order

There was a time way before Episode One when the Sith were numerous, fighting the Jedi for dominance, but infighting and a thirst for power left all but one of them dead. Seeing how all of this came to be would make for an interesting film.
