Blackberry Z30 ‘Aristo’ Release Date Set For 2013, Specs Compared With iPhone 5S, iOS7
The Blackberry Z30 Aristo release date is being set for late 2013.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the iPhone 5S release date is right around the corner, never mind the iPad 5 release date.
A Blackberry Z30 specs comparison against the iPhone 5S is interesting. Many Apple iPhone 5S reviews were unhappy with the fact that Apple kept the iPhone 5S screen size the same as the original iPhone 5, which is 4 inches. Some eyebrows might be raised by the fact that even the mighty Samsung Galaxy S4 will no longer the the giant in the rooms when the Blackberry Z30 enters the scene. The Blackberry Z30 screen size is a whopping 5 inches, putting it in the phablet size range and competing with the Samsung Note series.
Besides the bigger screen, the Blackberry Z30 comes packing with stereo speakers, a bigger battery and the latest BlackBerry 10.2 operating system. The Blackberry Z30 CPU is a quad core 1.7GHz process while the iPhone 5S A7 is dual core yet is the first to implement the first 64 bit operating system with iOS7. The Blackberry Z30 battery is rated for 2,880 mAh, giving it 25 hours of mixed usage, which might actually be better than the iPhone 5S.
Blackberry 10.2 will also become available to existing Blackberry smartphones in mid-October, right behind the release of iOS7. Blackberry 10.2 comes with a new Hub, a new notification system, and the ability to have icons on the lock screen.
The Blackberry Z30 release date is actually delayed for the United States. England and the Middle East will launch starting next week, but no details for the US release have been officially announced.
Financial experts are already pointing Blackberry failed to learn from the lessons of the Apple iPhone 5S launch event. The Blackberry Z30 launch party was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the Blackberry Z30 replaces the Z10 already, which might means sales on the previous Blackberry smartphone will drop as everyone waits for the newer version. With Blackberry already on the brink, it’s possible Nokia, Microsoft, or Lenovo might buy them out.
