Liam Hemsworth To Twerking Miley Cyrus: Keep The Ring

Miley Cyrus’ twerking might have caused a ratings bonanza, but it also might have caused the demise of her relationship with fiancé Liam Hemsworth. After unfollowing Hemsworth on Twitter, reps for the couple confirmed that they have decided to end their fifteen-month engagement.

According to E! News, Cyrus has been “coming to grips with Liam what she believed was less than faithful to her.” Although some have not believed the rumors that are swirling over Hemsworth’s fidelity, perhaps actions speak louder than words.

Liam Hemsworth has reportedly told Miley Cyrus that she can keep her engagement ring instead of giving it back. This move is seen as a peace-offering in the midst of rumors that actress January Jones got in between the couple.

Cyrus’ ring is worth a pretty penny. The Neil Lane 3.5 carat engagement ring reportedly cost Hemsworth $100,000. The ring itself is a vintage diamond from the 1890’s. Looks like someone is earning some serious dough from all of those Hunger Games films.

A source told Radar what may be behind Hemsworth’s decision on the engagement ring, having told the site:

“When Liam bought that ring, he truly believed he would be spending the rest of his life with her. Now he realizes they are both just too young to be ready for such a big commitment.”

However, it might have more to do with his behavior that led up to the split as it’s reported that Hemsworth spent a lot of time in Australia getting away from Cyrus throughout the summer.

While Miley Cyrus is still reeling after the break up, Liam Hemsworth isn’t wasting any time in moving on from Cyrus. Photos have emerged of Hemsworth kissing Eiza González a day after his split with Cyrus went public. The two were caught smooching at her apartment complex in Beverly Hills.

Sources are saying that Hemsworth just met Eiza, and it appears the two linked up in Vegas where Hemsworth was seen rebounding hardcore.

While Liam and Miley have kept their thoughts private on the matter, Liam’s older brother, Thor actor Chris Hemsworth, went on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss his brother’s relationship with the twerking singer.

The older and possibly wiser Hemsworth brother told Ellen DeGeneres about the press surrounding Liam’s relationship:

“If you have a film coming out or who you are dating and what have you… but um, we’ve been lucky, my wife and I. We kind of live a pretty simple boring kind of life. We’re not rolling out of clubs at 4 in the morning. Not to say that Liam is by the way. Well he has once or twice.”
