Miley Cyrus Update: Liam Lets Her Keep $250,000 Ring

Miley Cyrus and her ex-fiancee Liam Hensworth have been in the news a lot recently. The announcement of their break up came as no surprise after Miley unfollowed Liam on Twitter.

Even though it seems their relationship ended on less than good terms, Liam is keen to offer Miley an olive branch in the form of the stunning $250,000 engagement ring he gave her when he popped the question all those months ago.

The ring from VIP jeweler Neil Lane features a uniquely set 3.5-carat diamond, handcrafted with beautiful diamond floral motifs.

According to a source who spoke to RadarOnline.com, Liam wants Miley Cyrus to keep the ring as a memento: “Liam wants Miley to keep the ring. He wouldn’t ask for it back. Liam told Miley to keep it and do with it what she wanted. He told her to keep it as a memento of their love affair”

The source continued: “When Liam bought that ring, he truly believed he would be spending the rest of his life with her. Now he realizes they are both just too young to be ready for such a big commitment.”

It’s not totally clear to people why the couple split, but most believe that Miley’s steamy, and somewhat inappropriate, twerking performance at the VMA’s with Robin Thicke left Liam “mortified” and was the nail in the coffin for them.

The RadarOnline.com source continued to spill the beans: “That was all he needed to finally break up with Miley once and for all. He was embarrassed, disgusted and mortified by her performance.”
