Celine Dion Chats Shoes With Ellen, Owns 3000 Pairs [Video]
Fresh off news that Celine Dion is selling her massive $71 million Florida mansion the songstress sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to chat.
While her Florida home with its tree house, three pools, lazy river, water slides, and eight massive bedrooms is impressive, it is the singers 3000 pairs of shoes displayed inside her massive wardrobe closet that got Ellen’s attention.
Talking about the homes sale and her footwear Dion said:
“But it doesn’t come with my shoes…the house…”
Ellen then joked:
“For $71 million, throw your shoes in!”
After Ellen made her comment Celine Dion did what she does best and broke off into song. Celine covered Lisa Stansfield’s ‘Been Around the World’ with some lyric changes. Dion sung:
“All around the world and I, I, I… I don’t wanna wear those. I don’t know which, I don’t know why.”
Celine Dion does a great job of going from goofy song cover to straight-faced interviewer.
Ellen DeGeneres is no stranger to selling massive properties while turning a profit. The talk show host recently sold her ranch in Thousand Oaks for $10.85 million.
DeGeneres and her spouse, Portia de Rossi, purchased the rural property in 2009 for $8.5 million attempted to sell it in 2011 for $16.5 million.
