Blake Shelton: Nashville Concert Was A Dream Come True [Video]
Blake Shelton is one of the biggest stars working in country music today. But even for the multiple CMA nominee, playing in Nashville is something special.
Shelton brought it to the Bridgestone Arena on Saturday night for a sold out Nashville concert.
According to the Tennessean, The Voice coach shared several anecdotes about his career, said that he was pretty nervous to be headlines at the Bridestone Arena, and told the crowd his thoughts on Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera.
Shelton called Levine a “little scrawny guy,” said Aguilera was surrounded by secret service guys, and that he hit it off with Cee Lo Green because Shelton uses “Forget You” as his ringtone.
Shelton said: “I was like, ‘That’s my ringtone, man.'”
Blake Shelton is a mainstay on the country music scenes with multiple hits, millions of album sales, and a handful of major awards. Still, headlining a show in Nashville was something that he never saw coming.
Shelton said: “I’ve been hanging around Nashville since 1994 dreaming of the day I could headline this place right here… I’ll never forget this night for the rest of my life.”
After the show, Shelton also thanked his fans on Twitter for an amazing night in Nashville. (He also shared some deep thoughts on the female anatomy.)
Thank you Nashville.. That was unforgettable…
