One Direction Fan Kills Dog After Singers Ignore Her On Twitter
A deranged One Direction fan has allegedly killed her dog after the popular boy band ignored her demands that they follow her on Twitter.
@illumivato wrote to each member of the group on August 29: “Follow me or I’ll break my dog’s neck.” She accompanied this message with a picture of her holding her dog down on the floor, with her hand across its neck.
Unfortunately, her heinous message was missed by the band, as they receive millions of tweets a day from their enormous fan base.
After waiting several days for a response, she then decided to write a message to Liam Payne on her blog, which stated, “I love you. Follow me. My dog has just died.”
Her post also contained a photo of the young woman in tears, cradling a dog that appeared to be dead.
Other fans of the band, who are dubbed, “Directioners,” have since responded in outrage to her psychotic behavior. They labeled her a “psycho,” and urged Twitter to kick her off the social networking site.
Mya Fhya was so outraged by the woman’s alleged actions that she set up a Change.org petition to have her banned from Twitter. So far, her cause has gained 2,500 signatures.
She wrote as part of her case, “She has pictures of animals in blenders, a dog with guns up to its head, a picture of her strangling (what looks to be her mom) […] basically implying that if she does not get more followers she will kill all of these beings.”
@illumivato’s account has now been suspended. However, some people have started to question the legitimacy of the story, and they have stated that they believe the entire tale is a hoax.
One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne have yet to comment or respond to the tweets.
