‘Infinity Blade 3’: iPhone 5S Launch Title Could Be Best Game In Series
The iPhone 5S launch title Infinity Blade 3 could be the best game in the series.
The iPhone 5S is on its way, and after Apple’s announcement yesterday we learned that the smartphone will not only feature iOS 7, but it will launch with Infinity Blade 3.
Infinity Blade was a game about a warrior whose father just died at the hands of the God King. The player starts at the beginning of the castle and must finish the quest to avenge his predecessor. The path through the castle is pretty much linear, but the game makes up for it by making each scenario a fully 3D area. The combat itself takes you through a group of enemies who never die and simply get reborn, and in the end you discover that the guardian of the God King is your ancestor who chose to serve him instead. The game controls with finger swipes as the character slashes its sword through enemies, using block and shield abilities at the bottom of the screen when necessary.
Infinity Blade 3, the iPhone 5S launch title, will improve on the series in several ways, and could make it the best game in the series.
Infinity Blade 3 will now feature two characters, each with their own special abilities. Siris and Isa will have up to four additional fighters join their cause, and several weapons and spells to choose from and upgrade throughout the game. Over 100 weapons will be possible this time around.
Infinity Blade 3‘s world will be eight times bigger than the original and incorporate several castles, giving the quest path more variety than ever. It’s still a linear path, but there are several more sidequests and Clash Mobs to join.
The multiplayer side of Infinity Blade 3 will allow for a higher degree of teamwork, as well as time trials and more. Taking down the enemies could be as easy as joining a buddy’s game. Aegis Tournaments will add multiplayer brawls to an already fantastic game.
Needless to say, the iPhone 5S launch title Infinity Blade 3 could easily be the best game in the series, and a bestseller for Epic Games.
