Chloe Grace Moretz Sparks Star Wars Episode VII Rumors
Chloe Grace Moretz managed to start numerous rumors that she would be starring in Star Wars Episode VII with several innocent tweets.
On September 8, Moretz tweeted, “Night shoots = movie day in,” before then adding a picture of the Star Wars logo. She then followed this up with the message, “Darth Maul is terrifying,” before adding a picture of the villain alongside, “Total creep.”
Further rumors were then sparked by Moretz’s tweet later on in the day, which read, “Already on episode III revenge of the sith. Today was productive.”
Instantly, Star Wars fans took her message verbatim and decided that Moretz was actually watching the films as research for an role in JJ Abrams’ impending trilogy.
Moretz has been linked to Star Wars Episode VII in the past, and, according to ComicBook.com, she even told The Telegraph that she would be interested in a role in the upcoming sci-fi epic.
Moretz remarked when asked, “Yeah, I mean I can’t really speak about it. Its exciting and it would be a very cool thing to be a part of and I think JJ’s brilliant but we’ll see.”
Over the last few days various members of Lucasfilm have tweeted that they are currently watching the previous Star Wars movies to prepare for the production of the seventh instalment, which has added more fuel to Moretz’s rumor.
Kristen Hidalgo, who works in events at Lucasfilm, wrote:
