Sarah Palin: It’s Time To Bomb Obamacare

Now that the Syria situation is finally heading toward a resolution we can all take a step back and focus on what’s important: Death panels. Sarah Palin took to Twitter last night to remind her fan base not to forget about the impending doom of Obamacare.

Palin writes on Twitter that we shouldn’t be talking about bombing Syria. Instead, we should talk about bombing Obamacare.

Palin writes: “Enough of this foreign fiasco distraction. Get back to work. It is time to bomb Obamacare.”

Palin’s tweet linked to a video on YouTube about Obamacare and death panels. The video starts out with several clips of President Obama, as well as other politicians, calling Sarah Palin a liar for claiming that Obamacare would result in the death panels for the elderly.

The video also includes a clip where “death panels” was labeled “Lie Of The Year” in 2009.

About half way through the video the message starts to change. The video shows well known liberals like Paul Krugram and Howard Dean admit that Palin may have been right about “death panels.” Politico notes that Krugman, Dean, and several other politicians have noted that Obamacare acts as health-care rationing system and that the Independent Payment Advisory Board can decide who does and does not receive care.

But as Time Magazine notes, that part of the Affordable Health Care Act has been removed.

Time writes: “The Independent Payment Advisory Board, a government panel that may determine some Medicare payments rates, is expressly banned from rationing care. End-of-life counseling, a provision in an early version of a health reform bill that would pay doctors to talk to Medicare patients about living wills, was stripped from the final version.”
