Taylor Swift is bound to collect a few more CMA Awards this year.
The country singer has been nominated for six Country Music Association Awards this year. Swift leads the list of nominations this year along with Kacey Musgraves who was also nominated for six awards.
Swift has been nominated for Entertainer of the year, Album of the Year, and Best Female Vocalist. Swift was also nominated for Musical event of the year, single of the year, and best music video.
The Canadian Press reports that Taylor Swift has now been nominated for a total of 21 CMA Awards. She’s already won seven awards (including the Entertainer of the Year Award twice) and will most likely add to that total on November 6.
Of course, Swift will have to beat out some pretty strong competition to earn another Entertainer Of The Year Award.
Blake Shelton won the award last year and he’s been nominated again. Shelton is up for five awards this year including Album of the Year and Best Male Vocalist.

Taylor Swift hasn’t commented on the nominations yet but she did retweet a congratulatory message.

Are you surprised that Swift is leading the CMA Award nominees this year? What about Kacey Musgraves? The Nashville newcomer surprised a lot of people this year and could take home multiple awards at the 2013 CMAs.
