Jennifer Lopez And Taylor Swift To Collaborate, Report
There is a report that Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift will join forces to collaborate in an upcoming project. If the pairing seems unlikely you haven’t heard of the Latin diva showing up at one of Swift’s concerts this summer.
Lopez’s made a surprise appearance at Taylor Swift’s Red Tour while she was performing in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.
Now the two divas are apparently working together for a song in Lopez’s new album. Some are calling this team-up, “the ultimate collaboration”.
Jennifer Lopez’s new album is expected to be released in November.
According to Us Weekly, they are both huge fans of each other and very excited to be working together.
The 23-year-old country star brought in Jennifer Lopez for her last sold out performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and that is when the discussions were reportedly finalized.
Jennifer Lopez and Taylor Swift are two of the most successful female recording artists in their genres. Lopez is not only a singer, but an actress and Swift is a the top of the country charts with hits such as “I Knew You Were Trouble”.
Lopez’s appearance at the Red Tour concert was not the first time the two had performed together. Previously, on August 25, Swift joined the Latina on stage for a performance of her single “Jenny From The Block”.
Jennifer Lopez recently admitted that she is insecure about her singing abilities,
“The biggest insecurity I had was my singing,” she said for the October cover of Cosmopolitan. “Even though I had sold 70 million records, there was this feeling like ‘I’m not good at this.'”
She credits her ex-husband Mark Anthony, for helping her get over her self doubts.
“I work my ass off,” she added. “And I know what I’m doing.”
Jennifer Lopez collaboration with Taylor Swift is not the only one in the books. Lopez is also said to be planning to work with Chris Brown.
