iPhone 5S Fingerprint Sensor
With the exception of being the coolest rumor I’ve ever heard about any iPhone, it would also be an extremely practical application. Chin Times reported that a Taiwanese company named Chipbond has been ordered to provide numerous components for Apples new iPhone. This includes Chips that will absolutely support a fingerprint scanner. The Apple iPhone 5S fingerprint scanner will secure your device to unlock only for you. If that doesn’t make you feel like 007 then I don’t know what will. But this rumor is likely to be reality since last year The Inquisitr reported how Apple bought fingerprint scanner company Authentec.
iPhone 5S CPU: The A7 Processor
Intel is rumored to be manufacturing 10 percent of Apple’s new A7 Processor. According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo, the iPhone 5S CPU will be around 31 percent faster than the old A6 processor. 10 percent is not the ground breaking number you would expect from a company like Intel, but it does give you insight into future relations between Intel and Apple.
iPhone 5S Battery Gets Bigger
There is a photo floating around of a reportedly leaked image of the new iPhone 5 battery. This new battery would mean a nice jump from the current 5.45 WHr iPhone battery. The image was published by MacRumors and has not been actually verified by Apple. If this is true, the new Apple iOS 7 system would pair very nicely with the new battery making your everyday multitasking more efficient.
iPhone 5S Release Date
According to a report from AllThingsD, Apple is supposedly planning to announce a new iPhone on September 10, 2013. If this report is true we could see both the next-generation iPhone 5S, the new multi-colored iPhone 5C, and rumored low-cost iPhone hit the Apple stores by the end of this month! It is also when the iPhone 5 launched last year, so be on the lookout for purchasing the new Apple iPhone 5S around September 22, which is the actual rumored iPhone 5S release date.
Big Screen iPhone: 6 Inch Screen Displays?
When Apple first introduced the iPhone 5 last year they bumped up the screen size to 4 inches. The latest iPhone 5S rumors are saying that they may take it even farther with the new smartphone. Reportedly, Apple is testing new screens ranging from 4.7 to 6 inches, although the iPhone 5S screen size is likely to be in the four to five inch range. Hopefully, Apple will come out with a much needed diversified portfolio in the smartphone arena this coming 2014.
