George Zimmerman’s Wife Files For Divorce
George Zimmerman’s wife has filed for divorce.
As we’re sure you’ve heard by now, George Zimmerman was the guy in Florida who saw a young man, Trayvon Martin, and figured he was up to no good. He defied the orders of the police and followed the young man, and eventually shot him, claiming he though him a threat. The court and jury found George Zimmerman not guilty, to which the NAACP responded, demanding the verdict be brought to a higher court for re-analysis.
Since then, the man has done some rather questionable things, such as shopping for a shotgun and getting spotted speeding, as previously reported by The Inquisitr. He had also insisted that the State of Florida pay his legal fees.
Showing what appears to be a blatant lack of sense, George Zimmerman was not with his wife Shellie when she showed up in court without him and pled guilty to perjury, lying about the couple’s finances when the judge was setting his bail. Since then it was revealed that his wife was starting to question whether or not she should stay married to the man.
It appears Shellie Zimmerman has made up her mind, as George Zimmerman’s wife filed for divorce not even two months after he was acquitted for the murder of Trayvon Martin. In an interview with a freelance journalist, Shellie Zimmerman said she felt “very much alone” as she faced the court.
Shellie Zimmerman said that she believed her husband George Zimmerman when he said he killed Trayvon Martin in self defense, and was downright horrified at accusations that he was a murderer and a racist.

The couple had been living in a 20-foot trailer deep in the woods, afraid to leave because someone might find and do something horrific, she said. Apparently, Shellie Zimmerman may have had enough of it. George Zimmerman’s wife allegedly filing for divorce has shown that she’s done living like that.
