Sofia Vergara Celebrates 100th Episode Of ‘Modern Family’

Sofia Vergara looked pretty happy on the set of Modern Family this week.

That might be because she was recently named the highest paid actress on television for the second year in a row. Or, it might be because she just filmed Modern Family’s 100th episode.

Vergara has been publishing photos to her WhoSay account for the last few days as the cast of Modern Family wraps up its 100th episode.

Yahoo notes that a show’s 100th episode is a pretty big deal. It typically means that a show will enter into syndication (the first four seasons of Modern Family will head to the USA Network later this month) and usually features a major event.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sarah Hyland took to Twitter last month to say that the 100th episode was “hilarious” and rumors have been circulating that the episode will feature gay wedding.

Ferguson writes: “I don’t know how our writers do it. Today we read #ModernFamily’s 100th episode. It’s one if the best ones yet!!!!”

Hyland added: “We had our 100th episode table read today for #modernfamily & I have to say I was laughing the entire time. So lucky to be a part of it all!”
