Are Nico Jackson And Pippa Middleton Engaged?

There have been a lot of rumors lately about the possible engagement of Pippa Middleton – Prince William’s sister-in-law – to stockbroker Nico Jackson.

UPI reported on Monday that the engagement announcement seemed to be imminent:

“Over the weekend, the Daily Mirror and Sunday People tabloids reported that Middleton and Jackson planned to announce their engagement after her 30th birthday on Friday. The report claims that the pair kept their wedding plans secret for three months so as not to distract attention from the birth of the royal baby.”

It is known that Middleton, aged 29, and Jackson, aged 35, have been dating for the best part of six months. There have been so many conflicting reports buzzing around the web, that it’s hard to know exactly what is true and what isn’t.

Originally, reports came out saying that the couple had gotten engaged while on vacation in the Caribbean, in June. At the time those reports were mysterious, as it was thought Nico Jackson and Pippa were delaying their engagement announcement for the sake of “maintaining royal etiquette.”

A source told People Magazine, “They didn’t want an announcement before Pippa’s birthday because they didn’t want to take the shine off Kate and her baby.”

The source continued: “Pippa loved seeing Kate go down the aisle and now it is her turn for a fairytale wedding. She couldn’t be more sure that Nico is the right for her. They are such a good fit for each other and their families get on really well. Everyone is so happy for Pippa.”

Since then various sources at Us Weekly have contradicted those reports, saying that the rumors of an upcoming wedding between Nico Jackson and Pippa Middleton are simply not true. We leave you, our readers, to decide if wedding bells are on the agenda for the couple.
