Are Jada Pinkett Smith And Will Selling Their $42 Million Mansion?
The internet has been rife with rumors recently that Jada Pinkett Smith and husband Will Smith’s marriage is on the rocks. The rumors abounded further when news broke that the couple were selling their $42 Million Malibu Estate.
Karynne Tencer, a publicist and representative of Jada, spoke to reporters about the rumors, saying: “This is false. Their home is not on the market.”
The mansion sits on seven acres of beautiful land and covers an area of 25,000 square feet and contains a recording studio One would have to wonder why anyone would want to sell such a home.
The recent talk of a possible break up for Jada Pinkett Smith and Will was also fueled by comments Jada made in an interview on the key to a happy marriage. On her Facebook page, she clarified that when she said she was letting Will “do what he wanted”, that didn’t mean they were having an open relationship:
“Will and I BOTH can do WHATEVER we want because we TRUST each other to do so. This does NOT mean we have an open relationship…this means we have a GROWN one, (sic)”
Back in 2011, both Jada and Will spoke to an Architectural publication about their Malibu home: “For Will and me this home was always a spiritual endeavor,” said Jada. “We’re very earthy, organic people. We wanted to create a family retreat, something made by hand and as natural as possible, something that ties back to the land.”
Despite Jada Pinkett Smith’s rep’s statement, that the couple are not selling the home, many media sources suspect that something is afoot in the relationship between the two celebrities. It remains to be seen whether the house will be sold or not.
