[VIDEO] Jimmy Fallon, I hate you: TV host plays Uncharted 3 a year early
Yeah, sorry Jim, but if you’re going to play Uncharted 3 right in front of my very eyes a year before I can hope to touch the game, that’s how these things work.
Naughty Dog developers Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra showed up on Fallon’s chat show to demonstrate Uncharted 3. The gameplay they show sees Nathan Drake attempting to escape a burning chateau, with stunning fire effects and cinematic pre-scripted events the order of the day. To put it lightly, it looks freaking sweet.
Uncharted 3 was revealed last week for the PlayStation 3, and is hitting stores on the chronologically convenient date of November 11th 2011 (11-1-11). And I neeeeed it.
(By the way – and sorry to be a pernickety ass here – but how many more times are we going to hear jokes about games being for kids? At one point, Fallon jokes about being a 36-year-old man who plays games. Look people, the average gamer in the U.S. is damn well 34 years old. Time to get over it.)
