Tim Tebow Released By Patriots
Tim Tebow has been released by the New England Patriots.
Tebow’s job was in jeopardy after a rough pre-season but many experts thought that he would make the cut after his performance on Thursday night. Tebow threw for two touchdowns and 90 yards to help the Patriots beat the Giants this week but it wasn’t enough to save his job.
CBS notes that Tebow went just 11 for 30 during the pre-season. He had 145 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and was sacked four times for negative 48 yards.
The Patriots haven’t confirmed Tebow’s release yet but the team did say that it was cutting 12 players by 6pm tonight. According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, Tim Tebow is one of those players.
The big question now is what will Tim Tebow do next? After the NFL quarterback left the New York Jets last year many people speculated that his time in the NFL was over. He was offered jobs in the lingerie league, the arena league, and the Canadian football league but Tebow decided to give the NFL one more shot.
Now that he’s been cut from the New England Patriots it’s possible that Tebow’s NFL career is over.
What do you think? Will Tim Tebow find a job in the NFL? Some experts predict that the former Patriots QB will end up heading to the Buffalo Bills.
