Kate Middleton Shows Off Fit Post-Baby Body
Kate Middleton has been doing something right post-pregnancy.
The royal mom was spotted doing some grocery shopping on the island of Anglesey, her first public appearance since leaving the hospital with Prince William and baby George.
Kate seemed to have ditched her maternity duds and was showing off a remarkably fit physique, especially for only having given birth a few weeks ago. She wore skinny jeans, a nautical shirt, and loafers as she carried some bags to her car. The 31-year-old Duchess of Cambridge appeared to have a waistline that looked very trimmed down from the days immediately following Prince George’s birth.
Since giving birth, Kate Middleton has been staying in her parents’ home in Bucklebury, and the family plans a move back to Kensington Palace in September.
They may just be waiting for the royal apartment to receive the finishing touches. Kate and William reportedly put more than $1 million in renovations into the apartment to make it baby-ready, which includes a nature-themed nursery.
“I’ll have toy elephants and rhinos around the room,” Prince William said during the one-hour special, Prince William’s Passion: New Father. “We’ll cover it in, you know, lots of bushes and things like that. [We’ll] make him grow up as if he’s in the bush.”
There were reports that the new apartment had carved out some room for grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton, but sources in the royal palace debunked those rumors. There will be at least one guest room, but nothing specifically for the grandparents.
Kate’s routine may be changing soon, however. Once she returns to Kensington Palace, she’ll be back to her royal duties, including her first officials event a few weeks after returning back home. She is hosting a charity dinner on September 12.
It’s not clear what Kate Middleton is doing to lose weight after the birth of Prince George, but it seems to be working. Pictures of Kate and her trim figure can be seen here.
