Paula Patton Cool With Miley Cyrus Twerking On Robin Thicke At MTV VMAs
Paula Patton is the forgiving type since she couldn’t be cooler about her husband, Robin Thicke, being touched and dry humped by Miley Cyrus at the 2013 MTV VMA’s.
Sources close to Patton told TMZ that she was fine about the way Cyrus touched Robin’s crotch and kissed his neck at the music awards. This contravenes other reports which say she went nuts with husband Robin after the incident with Miley.
Apparently Paula Patton wasn’t surprised at the events that unfolded with her husband. There had been “tons of rehearsals” prior to the awards show so Paula knew, more or less, what she was in for.
Many are saying that Robin Thicke is a lucky man, as it seems Paula also wasn’t bothered by all the naked girls in Robin’s “Blurred Lines” video.
Paula told Celebrity Wire recently that she had once suspected Robin of cheating, but this was before they were married.
At that time, she said, she went to great lengths to find out if he was really cheating on her: “Before my husband was my husband — I don’t know what got in my head, love makes you crazy — I drove all the way to his house and I was in his bushes trying to look through the window. I totally got caught! Thank God I was wrong.”
Robin and Paula got married back in 2005, but were, in fact, high school sweethearts. For his part Robin Thicke shared his view on the secret to a good marriage when he told Essence magazine: “The number one thing is that any real relationship starts with respect. You have to respect that person, and that way you’ll listen to them and you’ll care about what they’re saying.”
Paula Patton and Robin have one child together and seem to show a good example to the world of how important respect in marriage is. If even the gorgeous Miley Cyrus can’t tempt Robin, who could?
