‘Berzerk’ Eminem Track Released Today [Watch]
“Berzerk,” the new Eminem track on his latest album MMLP2, is due for release today!
Slim Shady posted a sneaky sample of the song on his website, which is teasing fans with a 30 second snippet of things to come. The track is due for release today and promises to give Eminem fans exactly what they expect from their favorite rapper.
The party anthem, “Berzerk,” opens with the command: “Take your shoes off, let your hair down, go berserk all night long.” Eminem continues: “We’re gonna rock this house until we knock it down, so turn the volume loud.”
Later on in “Berzerk,” Eminem raps: “Life’s too short, so now go for broke,” and indeed he does go for broke with the following powerful, classic Eminem lyrics: “Let’s take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch/I’m about to bloody this track up, everybody get back/That’s why my pen needs a pad because my rhymes’ on the rag.”
The album, Eminem’s eighth to date, was co-produced along with his old friends Dr. Dre, and Rick Rubin. The album itself is due for full release on November 5th. The rapper posted a picture on his Instagram account featuring the VMA logo and teasing fans with the comment: “Guess who’s REALLY back? #VMAs,”
The eagerly awaited album can’t come quick enough for some fans, who have been waiting since last August for the album’s release. Back in the summer of 2012, Eminem spoke to MTV News: “I’ve actually kinda just started (on a new album). I’ve been on the move a little bit too, so I’ve in between things, sneak songs in here and there.”
Do you think “Berzerk” Will give Eminem great success or do you think, from what you’ve seen so far, that his previous albums were stronger? Share your comments in the feed below.
