Eminem gave fans a sneak peek at one of the tracks on his new album MMLP2. Berzerk was posted on Slim Shady’s website, teasing fans with a 30 second preview of the track. The song will be released properly on Tuesday.
The party anthem opens with the command: “Take your shoes off, let your hair down, go berserk all night long.” The rapper then continues: “We’re gonna rock this house until we knock it down, so turn the volume loud.”
Later on in Berzerk, Eminem raps: “Life’s too short, so now go for broke.”
The clip posted by Eminem on his site has him rapping the words: “Let’s take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch/I’m about to bloody this track up, everybody get back/That’s why my pen needs a pad because my rhymes’ on the rag.”
Rick Rubin, and Eminem’s long time friend and co-producer Dr. Dre, are the executive producers of the album which is due to be released on November 5th. MMLP2 is Shady’s 8th studio album to date.
Eminem shared a photo via his Instagram account of the VMA logo, teasing with the caption: “Guess who’s REALLY back? #VMAs,”
Fans have been eager to find out more details about the long awaited album since Eminem hinted that he was working on something new last year. He spoke to MTV News back in August 2012 saying: “I’ve actually kinda just started (on a new album). I’ve been on the move a little bit too, so I’ve in between things, sneak songs in here and there.”
