Lamar Odom Reported Missing: Family Fears He’s On A Drug Binge

Lamar Odom made the news over the weekend when it was reported that he has a serious crack-cocaine addiction and that he had cheated on his wife, Khloe Kardashian.

The Inquisitr reported yesterday that Odom’s drug addiction has plagued him for the last two years. It is believed to be the main cause of the current problems he is having in his relationship with Khloe. Back in 2012 Odom checked into a drug rehab facility in San Diego, only to leave after three weeks.

TMZ reported that Lamar Odom vanished, suddenly and that his family and friends are concerned for his well-being. They fear he may be on a drug binge, after reports hit the media about his personal problems. It is claimed that nobody has heard from Odom in more than 72 hours.

There were also reports that Odom, aged 33, remained clean of drugs after he left the rehab facility and played well for the Los Angeles Clippers during the last season.

Unfortunately once the season was over, Lamar, went back to his old habits of what his friends called “hardcore recreational drugs.”

Sources confirmed to TMZ that Odom’s family tried to intervene in the days before he disappeared, but that he was not co-operative with them. He was apparently kicked out of the house by wife Khloe and has not returned since.

A source told People.com: “It’s a really hard time for Khloe,. She’s kept this secret for almost two years trying to save Lamar and their marriage.” Another source, close to the family spoke about Odom’s drug problem: “Lamar genuinely doesn’t think he has a problem -– it’s all ‘work hard then party hard’ with him until it goes off the rails. They really do love each other. But she really feels that this problem is out of control, and she’s hurt that he won’t get help.”

His friends and family can only hope that Lamar Odom is okay and that he will soon return home safely.
