Nope, they’re not the newest cute couple in real life. But why wait for the David Cronenberg directed film to come out before you can see Wasikowska and Pattinson down on the ground kissing?

As the video report admits, Mia Wasikowska and Robert Pattinson appeared to feel somewhat weird about rolling around on the ground all dressed in black. Apparently, there was some laughter about it between takes.

But once the cameras are rolling, the giggles go away and they get serious.

Maps to the Stars is billed as a satire. And maybe that’s why they’re literally down on the ground for this scene.

Wasikowska plays the role of a young woman recently released from a treatment center for pyromania. Now she’s getting friendly with Pattinson, who plays the role of a limo driver who dreams of being an actor.

Robert Pattinson has worked with Cronenberg before in 2012’s Cosmopolis. Other cast members of Stars include Sarah Gadon, Julianne Moore, John Cusack, and Carrie Fisher.

Mia Wasikowska is a 23-year-old Australian who shot to fame as Alice in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.

Is there any chance of a real-life kissing scene between Wasikowska and Pattinson?

They called the Wasikowska/Pattinson kissing scene professional and pointed out that Mia Wasikowska is currently with 29-year-old Jesse Eisenberg. They met when filming The Double, which will be coming out in September at the Toronto International Film Festival.

They also suggest that Robert Pattinson is still obsessed with ex Kristen Stewart, even though he was with Riley Keough earlier this summer. Kissing Mia Wasikowska is strictly business.
