Microsoft has confirmed 23 Xbox One launch titles thus far.
If you’re one of the few who still actually wants an Xbox One after Microsoft’s apparently confusing statements about what the console will do, you’re in luck. There are 23 games that will be ready for the console when it launches most likely in late November. This obviously means that when you get your hands on Major Nelson’s pet project, you won’t be sitting there with a shiny new console and nothing to do but play Blu-Ray movies. Microsoft won’t be pulling what Sony did with the PlayStation 3 launch, in other words.
Without further ado, here are the 23 confirmed launch titles for the Xbox One :
- Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – Take on the Caribbean as a pirate, with gameplay mechanics returning from AC2, and enhanced graphics on Xbox One.
- Battlefield 4 – The latest in the first-person shooter series, it gives players a hybrid RTS type map to work with for planning attacks.
- Call Of Duty: Ghosts – Call Of Duty now has a dog companion, women in multiplayer, and less “camper-friendly” gameplay.
- Crimson Dragon – This rail shooter is the spiritual successor to the classic Panzer Dragoon.
- Dead Rising 3 – Take on the undead horde in a now open-world environment with crafted weapons.
- FIFA 14 – This year’s edition of the classic soccer game (or football everywhere else). It may be bundled with the Xbox One console in Europe.
