Aaron Hernandez Gun From Alleged 2012 Boston Double Murder Found [Report]

A gun linked to Aaron Hernandez and a 2012 double murder in Boston, Massachusetts may have been found in a car in Springfield.

That’s the report from CBS 3 Springfield, a local Massachusetts news station.

When Jailene Diaz-Ramos of Bristol, Connecticut crashed her car in Springfield on June 21, the police did an inventory of the vehicle. They discovered the black 0.38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver in a briefcase in the trunk.

She has been arrested and released on $1,000 bond for the illegal weapons charge. On Monday, an unnamed Massachusetts police source told the news station that ballistics tests show it was the gun used to kill two men in Boston in 2012. That unsolved murder is still being investigated, and Aaron Hernandez may be a possible suspect.

As Aaron Hernandez trial watchers already know, the former New England Patriots tight end is from Bristol. So are many other important people connected with the case, including the murder victim Odin Lloyd, the two men accused of being Hernandez’s accessories to the murder, and his current girlfriend.

Diaz-Ramos said that she was holding the gun for a football player she called “Chicago.” Is Chicago Aaron Hernandez? That’s the big unanswered question.

We already know that Aaron Hernandez has been suspected of using women to help him hide his guns.

Last week, multiple media sources reported that Aaron Hernandez’s fiancee Shayanna Jenkins is suspected of taking two guns from the basement of his house the day after the Lloyd murder.

By following the track of her red Nissan Sentra, the police found a 0.22 caliber handgun believed to be the one used by suspected accessory Ernest Wallace.

However, a 0.45 Glock that Aaron Hernandez is thought to have used is still missing.

Gun or no gun, Aaron Hernandez has pleaded not guilty.
