The latest Dead Rising 3 trailer gets creative.
Called “The best Dead Rising 3 trailer ever,” it’s obvious that whoever came up with this trailer for Capcom’s latest zombie game is rather proud of it.
Dead Rising has always been about surviving a growing crowd of the undead in usually enclosed locations, such as the mall in the first one where you were a borderline suicidal reporter bent on getting pictures.
The second game introduced weapon crafting as you combined different items for more creative ways to kill the brain-hungry hordes. For those of you who are looking to try it out in a couple of months, check out the upcoming Capcom Essentials collection. It includes Dead Rising 2 and four other current generation classics from Capcom, as previously reported by The Inquisitr .
The new Dead Rising 3 trailer begins with a bee doing its thing on what appears to be swollen dead flesh. It flies off as we then get a view of the nearest intersection of a city. It seems deserted as cars and such line the sidewalks, and we get a closeup of a pedestrian light that says, “Don’t walk.” The light changes to its alternate message.
We then see what appears to be a woman, judging by the shoes, pushing a stroller across the intersection, taking the crosswalk parallel to Ingleton St.. It is indeed a woman, or it seems so from what we can tell, and we see her holding a simple rattle. We see her face, and she’s been scratched rather violently, with marks on her cheek and lip. She’s probably been infected, which makes what happens next not look so wrong.
We get a rather violent jump-scare as some guy speeds through the intersection and runs her down without stopping. He appears to be annoyed as her blood covers his windshield, and then we see the street lined with the undead as he speeds along. He encounters a fire on an overpass as he goes, and zombies fall directly on his car as he passes it.
