Lisa Robin Kelly Death Still A Mystery, Cause Won’t Be Known For Months

Lisa Robin Kelly died last week, and we won’t know why for at least two months.

The 43-year-old That ’70s Show actress died last Wednesday in an addiction rehab center in California, according to a statement from her agent. She died just two days after admitting herself to the clinic.

According to The Mirror, police are calling her death a “mystery” since there were apparently no drugs or alcohol anywhere near her when she died in her sleep.

Lisa Robin Kelly’s autopsy was completed on Saturday, but it will be another eight to 10 weeks before the toxicology results come back, reports CNN.

Last week, her agent sent the following statement on her death to the press:

“Lisa had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment facility early this week where she was battling the addiction problems that have plagued her these past few years,” agent Craig Wyckoff said last Thursday. “I spoke to her on Monday and she was hopeful and confident, looking forward to putting this part of her life behind her.”

The actress was best known for playing Laurie Forman on That ’70s Show for the first five seasons. In Season 6, actress Christina Moore took over the part.

But the actress has been known more recently for her turbulent and troubled personal life, which included an arrest last November after an alleged domestic dispute with her husband, Robert Joseph Gilliam. Then in June, she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Lisa Robin Kelly enrolled in rehab last Sunday after allegedly registering a near-fatal.34 blood alcohol level at a local hospital.
