Kate Middleton and her newborn, Prince George of Cambridge are taking their first road trip to go visit dad William in Wales.
The little Prince is only four weeks old, well almost, and is taking his first car trip about 270 miles away from where the family has taken up residence, in Bucklebury.
Kate and George will meet William at their Anglesey, Wales home, were the couple spent the last three years while the Duke of Cambridge has been stationed as a search and rescue pilot at the Royal Air Force (RAF) base there.
And even thought Kate and William have a home there, the new parents chose to come to the home where Kate grew up, so grandma Carole (Middleton) could help the new mom care for her baby.
According to a report in People magazine, Kate and George were accompanied by Carole on the trip.
On Wednesday, Prince William talked about wife Kate Middleton and George at The Anglesey Show as he thanked the crowd attending for the hospitality with which the couple was received when they first moved there and throughout their stay.
William expressed his regret that Catherine and George could not join him for the occasion and said in a prepared speech that his son is “loud”, but “extremely good looking” to the delight of those present.
Kate Middleton has not been seen in public since she and William left the hospital on July 23, the day after Prince George was born. There were some photos of the couple leaving Kensington Palace the following day on their way to Bucklebury.
While addressing the crowd at Anglesey, William confessed that Kate and he will miss Wales tremendously. It is uncertain what new role the Duke will be undertaking after he steps down from his current position with the RAF.
