Gia Allemand’s mother has come out to release a statement refuting all of the things said to the media by Allemand’s friends. So far, many people close to Gia Allemand prior to her death told the media that she was “insecure” and “facing demons” prior to her death, but her mother does not want people to jump to conclusions and is not agreeing with those reports.
In the statement, which was released through a media representative , Gia Allemand’s mother Donna Micheletti says:
As her mother, I am well aware of Gia’s close friends and her best friends, and I am personally going on record to refute all statements to the media out there thus far with the exception of official statements we have released through publicist Penelope Jean Hayes, and those jointly with Ryan Anderson’s NBA team representation.
Micheletti went on to talk about how many of the people now claiming to be Gia Allemand’s close friends are actually people that she was no longer speaking to prior to her death. Although Micheletti did not go into specifics with her blanket statement, she did point to Loredana Ferriolo as being someone that Allemand did not trust.
Despite Gia Allemand not trusting many of the people that were supposedly her “close” friends, people like Ferriolo are gaining massive amounts of media attention because of her death. Micheletti also mentioned Allemand’s funeral which is going to be talked about in more detail in a later statement.
Many people are currently shocked about Gia Allemand’s death and as a result, the media has been swarming around anyone that had any sort of contact with her during he life. With the media being how it is, there are many reports circulating around websites which are likely false.
