Kourtney Kardashian Gets DNA Test, And Mason’s Father Is …

Poor Kourtney Kardashian was forced to submit to a paternity test to prove Scott Disick is indeed the father of her first child, Mason.

Kardashian was unpleasantly thrust into the Maury-like spotlight when alleged former fling and male model Michael Girgenti stepped forward with a very big claim — that he (and not Scott Disick) had fathered Mason.

Bolstering the Kourtney Kardashian paternity doubts in gossip columns were allegations that Mason doesn’t resemble sis Penelope — an assertion that applies to lots of siblings, but still gave the story stronger legs.

Kourtney couldn’t even get the words out before Girgenti objected — saying that the DNA results proving Disick is Mason’s dad were privately obtained and could have been faked.

TMZ reports:

“Michael Girgenti tells TMZ, he saw the DNA test results TMZ posted on Thursday, which Kourtney got from an independent lab, showing that Scott is Mason’s dad — but Girgenti insists those results could easily have been forged.”

Kourtney said after showing the results to sites like E! and TMZ that she didn’t want to acknowledge the claims by Girgenti, but it seems reasonable that she’d want the notion quashed so her kids don’t read the rumors down the road — Kardashian said:

“After three-and-a-half years of rumors and lies being spread by an individual I met briefly at a photo shoot, I am setting the record straight that Scott is Mason’s father… While it saddens me to have to address these ridiculous lies — especially when the truth was never in doubt — this story must be put to rest.”

While Kourtney Kardashian has provided the results, there will still be a hearing next month to address Girgenti’s assertion of paternity.
