Kanye West Booed At Dodgers Game, Robin Thicke Gets Cheers
Kanye West was booed during a rare post-baby appearance at the Dodgers game Wednesday night while “Blurred Lines” singer Robin Thicke got heaps of loud praise. It’s kind of a nice illustration for where these two musicians are at in their respective careers right now.
Anyway, Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy was near the front as te Dodgers beat the New York Mets Wednesday night in L.A., but when he was shown on the jumbotron, he didn’t get a very warm reception from the crowd.
Once his image was shown, he was booed by fans.
ESPN reporter Arash Markazi saw the whole thing and documented it on Twitter.
“Kanye West was just shown on the jumbotron at Dodger Stadium and booed,” he wrote. “Kanye West just got moved to second row seats near the Mets dugout. #KanyeWatch.”
Meanwhile, “Blurred Lines” singer Robin Thicke’s star continues to rise. When he was shown on the stadium screen, he got a loud ovation of cheers from the crowd. Then again, Thicke has the No. 1 song of the summer while Kanye’s latest tanked. I don’t even remember what his album is called off the top of my head, and I do this for a living. That’s how bad the Kanye situation is right now.
But Kanye will get a shot at redemption next week when he performs at the MTV VMAs on Sunday, August 25. Thicke is also set to perform that night, so we’ll see whether Kanye makes the connection and says something inherently Ye.
Who do you like better? Kanye West or Robin Thicke? Sound off!
