Carrie Underwood To Co-Host CMA Awards For 6th Time [Video]
Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will co-host the 47th annual CMA Awards at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 6.
It will be the sixth time that they will host the event known as “Country Music’s Biggest Night.”
The announcement was made during Monday night’s broadcast of CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock.
Ed Hardy, president of the CMA board of directors, said in a press release:
“Carrie and Brad are the consummate hosts… they have the respect of our industry, artistic credibility, critical acclaim and a quick-witted, genuine rapport that makes them popular with our audience and the viewers at home. We are delighted to have them back as hosts for the sixth year.”
If past performance is anything to go by, we can expect to hear Underwood and Paisley sing together while poking fun at fellow country stars.The show will be broadcast on ABC (8 p.m. ET).
