Britney Spears Dollar Store Shopper? Didn’t Stop Her From Spending $7 Million In 2012

Britney Spears earned $14 million in 2012, and she quickly turned around to spend $6.8 million from her take home pay.

According to new conservatorship documents, the pop superstar loves to spend cash in unlikely places.

Sure, Spears spent $500 on manicures and $3,400 on Christmas lights, but she also spent $63.74 at a 99 Cents Plus store and $11.92 at a Pay 99 Cents Or Less store.

It also wasn’t all five star dining for the multi-millionaire either. Spears spent a good deal of cash at the following restaurants: Subway, Wetzel’s Pretzels, Domino’s, IHOP, 7-11, El Pollo Loco, McDonalds, In-N-Out, Coffee Bean, Starbucks, and Romano’s Macaroni Grill.

The biggest expense outside of her house came in the form of grooming and wardrobe expenses, which totaled $33,959 through all of 2012. Keep in mind that money spent on wardrobe choices is on top of all the free clothes and accessories Spears likely received from top designers.

Britney Spears also spread some of her money around to family, paying $1,500 to her Kentwood, Louisiana yard boy. That yard boy is none other than Jamie Lynn’s baby daddy Casey Aldridge.

Spears isn’t exactly hurting for money. The singers conservatorship already contains $36.4 million. The conservatorship doesn’t include the $68 million Britney earned from her last concert tour or her $15 million X-Factor paycheck.

While Britney Spears continues to earn a ton of annual income, she isn’t outside the realm of losing all her money. Michael Jackson was known for lavish spending sprees that nearly bankrupted his billion dollar worldwide business interests.
