Game Of Thrones’ Jon Snow And Ygritte Break Up In Real Life

Jon Snow and Ygritte have ended their relationship… in real life, not just in Westeros.

Actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie play the bastard son of Eddard Stark and the spunky wildling upstart on the popular HBO series Game of Thrones, and began dating in real life after they met on set. According to a report from Britain’s Mail on Sunday, the two have elected to end their romance, which also came to an ignoble conclusion on the show last season.

At the end of Season 3, despite proclamations of love, Jon Snow returned to the Night’s Watch, leaving Ygritte to formulate an attack on Castle Black with her wildling compatriots. But not before she shot him three times with arrows, nearly ending his life.

The real-life breakup probably didn’t do like that, but sources say that Leslie has moved on with a non-actor.

“Rose and Kit are no longer together. Rose has a new boyfriend who is not in the public eye. She is eager to keep this relationship out of the spotlight,” the source said.

Neither Harington nor Leslie have talked about their relationship publicly, but I like to think that she broke up with him because he knows nothing.

As far as Game of Thrones goes, fans have plenty to look forward to in the upcoming Season 4. Though Season 3 ended on a very, very sour note, Harington describes the upcoming season as his “favorite” so far.

“I’ve got great hopes for this season. I’ve read it and it’s fantastic. You’re going to love it,” he told Yahoo TV.
