Jimmy Fallon Baby Born Via Surrogate
Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy revealed today that their baby girl Winnie was born via surrogate.
In an interview with TODAY, Fallon said that him and his wife struggled to conceive their first child.
Fallon said: “My wife and I had been trying a while to have a baby. We tried a bunch of things. So we had a surrogate.”
Fallon’s baby news came as a bit of a surprise to his fans and according to the talk show host that was all part of his plan. Fallon said that they didn’t tell anybody about the baby until Winnie was born on July 23.
Fallon said: “We said, ‘We’re not going to tell anybody.’ It’d be just more fun if it’s just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody. When it happened we were in shock. We were like, ‘Alright, who do we tell? Who’s going to be mad at us if this gets out.’ We had to call everybody and it’s so emotional!”
Once Jimmy and Nancy Fallon told their loved ones about the baby they decided to share the news with the comedians fans. Jimmy has been posting photos of his little girl on Twitter and Instagram.
My wife and I thank you for all of the nice baby well wishes. Her first day was the best day of our lives. So happy. Thanks again.
