Megyn Kelly And Piers Morgan Prepare For Ratings War
Megyn Kelly is reportedly moving into Sean Hannity’s prime time time slot at Fox News, which means that she’ll be going head to head with Piers Morgan.
Hannity’s show consistently beat Piers Morgan in the ratings, but the British talk show host is hoping to take advantage of the shake up at Fox. Piers sent a message to Kelly today telling her to “bring it on.”
Of course, Kelly probably won’t have to try to hard to beat Piers.
According to Mediate, Hannity was hardly ever challenged by Morgan or MSNBC host Rachel Maddow. A survey in June found that Hannity’s audience was four times larger than Morgan’s and twice the size of Maddow’s.
We’ll have to wait and see if Megyn Kelly can keep up those type of numbers but it’s unlikely that she loses the ratings war to Morgan or Maddow.
Kelly’s Fox News colleague Eric Bolling also took to Twitter to talk about the new ratings battle. Bolling said that Fox’s decision to move Megyn Kelly to the 9 pm slot spells bad news for both Piers Morgan and Rachel Maddow.
ALERT!.. some bad news for Rachel! http://t.co/HH6Uzlb04c http://t.co/UF6iCO7EiM

Kelly hasn’t commented on her new prime time slot, but she probably isn’t too worried about the ratings. She’s a rising star at Fox and has a large fan base. Piers Morgan is hoping to steal some viewers during the shakeup at Fox, but he’s probably not going to be able to challenge Kelly in prime time.

Do you think Piers Morgan has a chance against Megyn Kelly?
