A husband crashed his car whilst his pregnant wife was giving birth in the passenger seat next to him, however, despite this tragic turn of events, all three survived and are doing well.
Mokhles Raheema was not only driving his wife and their unborn child, he also had his two infant kids in the back seat too, who are aged one and eight. Raheema was traveling along the motorway in Sweden when the incident occurred.
He became so concerned with his wife and her pregnancy that as she struggled with the ordeal he looked over at her to check that they were OK, taking his eyes off the road in the process, which lead to his car veering into a ditch and then rolling four times.
When the car finally came to a stop, Mokhles frantically checked to see if his family had survived. He was able to hear from Raheema and his two children instantly, however there were several moments when they didn’t know where their new child was located.
But they soon found her lodged under the front passenger seat, plus she had her umbilical cord still attached.
Mr Raheema told Swedish television , “She told, ‘she’s coming out, she’s coming out!’ I saw my daughter come out and fall headfirst onto the floor of the car.”
Somaher delivered the child, who ended up being a little girl , herself, whilst Mr Raheema also discussed the frantic search for his new daughter, and added that when he found her he immediately held her against him, because unsurprisingly she was crying. Somaher admitted that she now feels better, but still hurts all over because of the crash.
An ambulance arrived moments later, thanks to a passing motorist who called one, whilst Mokhles added that his friend who he borrowed the car off might be a tad upset with him as he has completely totalled his car.
