The Ender’s Game final trailer is here, and the aliens are issuing a new threat.

The film based on the Orson Scott Card sci-fi military novel is almost here! Ender’s Game will see Andrew Wiggin (AKA Ender) facing off against fellow Battle School students in zero gravity battles with flash suits and light guns, as well as fighting the aliens themselves. For those of you who haven’t read the book, you didn’t read that last sentence. In fact, you might want to just close this article, get the book, and read it first.

For those of you who have read the book and are looking forward to the upcoming movie, let us continue.

The Ender’s Game final trailer begins with what appears to be the Sun shining from just beyond Earth’s surface. Graff ( Harrison Ford ) narrates, “When the aliens first invaded, they nearly destroyed us. They will be back. There’s greatness in you, Ender. The world needs you. You were bred for this. You see things in a way we can’t. You alone can understand the enemy. You will be the one to save mankind.”

During this monologue, we see clips of an alien invasion wiping out life on Earth. Then we see a secluded lake in the mountains, which fans of the book may remember as where Ender and Valentine talked before Ender went off to fight the aliens under the guise of another game. Another clip shows crystalline formations in the middle of a wasteland. Two boys enter the Battle School zero gravity game room in flash suits, and a spaceship is seen near an asteroid field and then separating from a larger ship.

After we see Ender (Asa Butterfield) opening his eyes, another man says, “Unless we act now, Earth will be annihilated.”

Graff leans toward a large window as we hear his voiceover, “We’re out of time.”

A few clips later, Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley) tells Graff, “He’s not ready.”

The rest of the video is above. What do you think of the Ender’s Game final trailer? Are you excited to see the film on November 1?
