Kim Kardashian Post-Baby Body In Hiding During First Public Appearance Since Birth [Video]

Kim Kardashian has made her first public appearance Friday since giving birth to baby North West on June 15. The thing is, she arranged things so that what we all really want to see — the Kim Kardashian post-baby body — is still out of sight.

If you press that magic button up top, you will see Kim Kardashian’s video message to her mother. Sean “Diddy” Combs surprised Kris Jenner with Kardashian’s video message on her new Fox Talk show Today’s KRIS.

Is this the lamest publicity stunt ever?

It’s worse than Kate Hudson saying Prince William stayed at her house — you know, the house she wasn’t living in at the time.

All we’re getting is Kim Kardashian on a screen from the collarbone up.

So there’s no real hint on her progress in getting rid of the post-baby bump.

And her excuse for not being there in person to support her mother’s new show?

Check this out: “I’m sorry I couldn’t be there in person but I’m just loving life a little too much at home right now.”

Ouch.

Don’t worry, honey. I’m sure that baby bulge — or the post-surgical tummy tuck swelling — will be gone any day now. Then you can stop loving life at home and get back to loving life live and in person.

I guess I’m being catty. But I think I’m entitled after the sorta bait-and-switch appearance on Today’s Kris.

Kardashian must know that there’s incredible public interest in how she looks as she’s recovering from her very uncomfortable-seeming pregnancy.

That interest in her life is, after all, how she keeps bringing the fans back to Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

And it’s that interest she’s playing on to draw fans to her mother’s talk show — except that in this case she kinda doesn’t give the viewers what they were hoping for.

I’ll be honest with you. I think Kardashian should have sent that lame video message in a handwritten card.

What’s she hiding?

The public wants to see the Kim Kardashian post-baby body. Stat!
