Katy Perry Tells Kristen Stewart She’s Just Friends With Robert Pattinson

Katy Perry wants to make it clear — there’s nothing going on between her and Robert Pattinson.

As the Twilight star’s relationship with Kristen Stewart became unraveled during the past few months, many publications speculated that the friendship between Perry and Pattinson had blossomed into something more. They were seen together frequently, most recently at a Bjork concert in Los Angeles last month.

A source even told E! News that Perry “played a role, as one of many reasons” in the split between Pattinson and Stewart.

Other reports said Pattinson had a crush on Katy Perry.

“Katy was Kristen’s friend first, but she gets on with Rob brilliantly. It’s clear to everyone that Rob’s got a bit of a crush on Katy and she totally plays up to it,” a source told Heat magazine.

But Perry has consistently said that there is nothing going on between the two, and in a recent interview said she reached out to Kristen Stewart, who is also her friend, to let her know there is nothing to the rumors.

Katy Perry actually has a theory about where all the Robert Pattinson theories are starting — her breasts. In an interview in ELLE UK, Perry joked that her physique was the real reason people speculated about a romance with the Twilight star.

“I sent [Kristen] a text message saying: ‘I know you’ve seen all this stuff but you know I would never disrespect you. I’m not that person,'” Perry said. ” ‘I’m just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of tits.’ ”

Perry seems to have enough relationship drama of her own going on. The singer opened up about her relationship with John Mayer, saying their relationship was trying but that it taught her a lot about herself.

But now Katy Perry said she’s done with “challenging” men, and instead is having fun with her new good friend Rihanna.
