‘Bad Milo’ Unleashes Hilariously Disgusting Red Band Trailer [Video]
The red band trailer for the upcoming horror-comedy Bad Milo is currently making the rounds online. If butt jokes aren’t your thing, then you might want to skip this one.
For a movie with such a disgusting concept, there’s quite a few familiar faces peppered through the recently-released trailer. In addition to Burning Love and Children’s Hospital star Ken Marino, the flick features Stephen Root (Office Space), Patrick Warburton (Ted), and the endlessly amusing Peter Stormare (Fargo).
The concept is pretty simple: Phil’s life is a collection of increasingly stressful and savagely agonizing events. In addition to driving him crazy, all of these anxiety is starting to take its toll on his physical well-being.
Since Phil internalizes all of his agony, something very odd is starting to happen inside of his body. Whenever someone causes him a great deal of stress, a demon materializes and wreaks havoc on the responsible parties. It’s about as zany a concept as you’re likely to find from a mainstream distributor.
Here’s how Magnolia describes the Bad Milo:
Duncan’s life is a real pain in the ass. Tormented by a manipulative, crooked boss, a nagging mother, a deadbeat new age dad, and a sweet, yet pressuring, wife, his mounting stress starts to trigger an insufferable gastrointestinal reaction. Out of ideas and at the end of his rope, Duncan seeks the help of a hypnotherapist, who helps him discover the root of his unusual stomach pain: a pint-sized demon living in his intestine that, triggered by excessive anxiety, forces its way out and slaughters the people who have angered him. Out of fear that his intestinal gremlin may target its wrath on the wrong person, Duncan attempts to befriend it, naming it Milo and indulging it to keep its seemingly insatiable appetite at bay.
