A crocodile bit his trainer’s heads at a popular tourist attraction in Thailand.
According to the Bankkok Post , the incident happened at a crocodile farm in Samut Prakan.
The trainer, 27-year-old Pravit Suebmee, was performing a stunt where he stuck his head inside the croc’s mouth. Well, that wasn’t a good idea. The animal shut his jaws and tossed the trainer back and fourth.
Luckily, Suebmee suffered wounds on his face and neck but was not seriously injured.
Uthen Youngprapakorn, owner of the Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm and Zoo, said that Pravit had more than 8-years of experience dealing with crocodiles. Uthen said that Pravit may have startled the crocodile after his hand slipped on the wet ground.
Sao Saengkit, the other trainer in the video, agreed with Uthen. Sao was able to grab the crocodile’s head after it bit down on his fellow trainer’s head and, thankfully, the crocodile released the trainer from his jaws.
Uthen said: “This is the first time this has happened at our crocodile farm… I’ve regularly warned the performers to be careful at all times.”
Here’s a video of the incident. If it wasn’t obvious, the video contains an animal attack that may not be suitable for all visitors.
