The video features the Boyz II Men song It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday. Among the dead characters to make an appearance are Viserys Targaryen and King Robert Baratheon to “Stable Boy.”
At the end the video reads “The North Remembers.”
When the Game of Thrones panel began, many producers and cast members were in attendance. In attendance was executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss and writer and co-executive producer George R.R. Martin, as well as stars Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Rose Leslie (Ygritte), Richard Madden (Robb Stark) and John Bradley West (Samwell Tarly).
Fans attending the GoT panel were most interested in learning about Martin’s writing process for the sixth and seventh novels in the A Song Of Ice And Fire book series. In recent months, Martin has admitted that writing at such a quick pace has not been easy. In the past the author was able to write at his own pace, spending years to develop his story lines and characters.
During the panel, Martin said he is currently thinking about a Game of Thrones prequel.
