Big Brother’s Jeremy McGuire Emerges To Allegations Of Racism, Sexism [Video]

Now that he has been evicted from the Big Brother house, Jeremy McGuire has finally had an opportunity to catch up with all of the talk of racism, sexism and homophobia in the house this season, some of which is pointed right at him.

Though not as controversial as GinaMarie Zimmerman and Aaryn Gries, 23-year-old McGuire has said a few unsavory things all his own. On the live feeds, he was caught referring to his female roommates as “bitches” and bragging about a hook up with fellow houseguest Kaitlin Barnaby (he made a rather infamous and disturbing comment about her vagina).

Now that he’s out, he’s answering for his comments in interviews that really set the tone for what Zimmerman and Gries can expect when they leave Big Brother, with money or without.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, McGuire denied a handful of allegations against him.

“Yeah, I’m not racist, sexist, or homophobic, so I mean, I guess everything can be taken out of context,” he said.

“Everybody in there was friendly with everybody and we weren’t scared to say it in front of each other, so I’m sure it was just twisted and turned in a way to entertain. But I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.”

When asked about his disturbing comments about Barnaby, he said “hopefully, she reacts well” when she sees it played back, and told The Hollywood Reporter in a separate interview that he hopes he can continue his relationship with her when she leaves the house.

He was also asked about the controversial argument between Gries and African-American houseguest Candice Stewart. Gries flipped Stewart’s mattress over and called her “Shaniqua.” Barnaby also taunted Stewart, but McGuire says he was too stunned to intervene.

“I mean, it was crazy, don’t get me wrong,” he said. “It was an emotional roller-coaster, and I just had to sit back and watch for most of it. But being there was kind of surreal regardless of what was going on. Everything kind of seemed unreal to me, so it really hasn’t hit me yet to be honest with you.”
