Vin Diesel Attached To A Marvel Movie
Looks like Vin Diesel is heading for Marvel. For those who follow the actor on Facebook, this shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, but more as an inevitable plan for Diesel. For a few weeks, Diesel has been creating a one-man marvel show on his Facebook page. Every few days Diesel drops different hints or hopes about his Marvel dreams.
Diesel’s destiny for his Marvel debut started when he posted on Facebook about a meeting he was going to at the request of Marvel. At the time Vin Diesel wrote: “No idea what for… haha, you probably know better than me…”
Diesel didn’t divulge any details about his meeting with Marvel, but following the meeting, he followed it up by taking a photo of himself in front of an Avengers poster. No word on whether or not this means he will take on a role in Avengers 2, but we do know Diesel will have his Marvel debut soon.
Over at Comic-Con Diesel was at the Riddick panel, talking about the upcoming film, and was asked about those Marvel hints. When pressed about his possible Marvel role, Diesel said: “There is some very big news coming at the end of this month.”
Marvel and Vin Diesel make sense. He definitely has the leading man status, and he can carry an action film on his back. Diesel has brought box office bucks in the last few years, so it seems like a no brainer to us. In fact, we’re not sure why Marvel and Diesel haven’t teamed up sooner.
With no other information to go on, all we can do is speculate about what film Vin Diesel will appear in. Perhaps its his own Marvel film? Maybe he will be a villain? What’s your guess?
